Community-based Services
As the third pillar of our service area, our community-based services seek to address the inequities that exist in communities. With a social justice orientation, we are committed to using a community-based approach to deliver quality community-based services to people in need. We believe that everyone should have equitable access to the services they need and should not be stigmatized due to one’s socio-economic status (SES), age, gender, and race. Based on these beliefs, our team addresses the issue of local poverty, supports low to modest-income families, and strives to improve social conditions. Working with individuals, families, and communities, the provision of OneHub Growth’s community-based services follows core social work values and principles (CASW, 2005).
- Respect for inherent dignity and worth of persons
- Pursuit of social justice
- Service to humanity
- The integrity of professional practice
- Confidentiality in professional practice
- Competence in professional practice
