Seniors' Voices
Seniors' Voices Program
We acknowledge the demographic shift and strive to address the challenges arising from our ageing population among racialized immigrants. We run a Seniors’ Voices program to listen to the perspectives of seniors and provide opportunities for them to exercise their autonomy and self-determination.
OneHub Growth hears and values the voices of seniors. We respond to this conversation by creating a platform to acknowledge seniors and their contributions to the community. Our Seniors’ Voices Program addresses inclusion and equity by adding seniors’ perspectives, knowledge, and skills. Seniors can utilize their prior expertise and pass their heritage on to others through art and cultural activities. Activities can be:
- scriptwriting
- dancing
- calligraphy
- musical instruments
- drawing and painting
- arts and crafts
- playing chess
- martial arts
- tai chi
- tea ceremony
- photography
- and more
