Skills Development Programs
The second pillar of our service areas reflects the idea of building strengths and capacities. Our skills development programs demonstrate one’s ability to make connections with others, build trusting relationships, and learn new knowledge together. Working within communities, OneHub Growth’s ultimate goal is to use a life-span perspective to serve people at different points in their lives within youthhood, womanhood, adulthood, and late adulthood.
We look at designing programs that can be provided through a lifespan perspective. These programs empower, educate, and provide potential support in removing underlying barriers that may exist for members of our community.
Our skills development program objectives:
- Reducing language barriers
- Raising a platform for visible minorities
- Promoting equity to access community resources
- Enhancing quality of life
- Improving mental health
