Skills Development Programs
The second pillar of our service areas focuses on skills development. The idea of a skills development program is to facilitate opportunities for individuals to explore their potential, strengthen their existing knowledge, and learn new skills through retraining. Our program design considers the needs of employers and the local labour market requirements. Using a lifespan perspective, OneHub Growth also believes that people at different points of their lives may have various challenges and require different skill sets to achieve their goals. Therefore, our programs are intended to serve a variety of cohorts such as newcomers, women, youth, and persons 65 years+.
Our skills development programs’ objectives include:
- Reducing language barriers
- Providing training opportunities
- Raising a platform for the community
- Encouraging volunteerism
- Providing pre-employment and employability support
- Sharing skills and knowledge
