Joy Xu is a fourth-year student at McMaster Health Sciences who is avid in the community as the founder of STREAM Syndicate (federal charity), Felicity (productivity app), and contributor to numerous research endeavours. Her achievements have received global accolades including the Commonwealth Innovation Award from the General-Secretariat, the Diana Award, the Duke of Edinburgh Award as well as local recognition from Ontario Medal for Young Volunteers presented by the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario and media platforms such as Toronto Star.
