What to Expect:
- Identify the difference between an NP, RN, RPN, and PSW, including educational requirements
- Explore compensation for different nursing professions
- Gain insight from an RN with first-hand experience in a Toronto hospital & a current nursing student
- Know how to apply to nursing programs in Ontario
Guest Speakers:
Christine Hoheisel is an RN at St. Michael’s Hospital in Downtown Toronto. She works in General Internal Medicine. She has 30 years of nursing experience, working in the capacity of a floor nurse, charge nurse, and also working in the step-up unit.
Essence Lee is a nursing student at McMaster University. She feels very passionate about pursuing a career in nursing as this gives her opportunities to serve and support others in both their physical and emotional states. She is looking forward to sharing her thoughts, experiences, and knowledge with the community.
